Chair Makeover

>> Saturday, January 16, 2010

My friend Heather is a designer in Atlanta. Earlier this week she sent me a photo of this chair she revitalized. How awesome is this chair!? The chevron fabric is by Paula Press and the piping was a JoAnn's find. The fact that she thought to do the piping out of a completely different, highly patterned fabric really makes the chair for me.
Good job Heather! Now start a blog so we can see all your many other creative ideas!

It's gorgeous! I love the contrasting trim too - what a great idea.

I really like the shade of green. Not a colour you see inside that often. Good job!

Thanks Stephanie, you're too kind!!
Shane was so nice as to start my blog for me. It's gonna take me a long time to get good at it, like you are. You're super savvy!

What a marvelous touch to make the piping so different! I also love that green.

Very nice! I have a chair upstairs that I will be recovering in the next week, I hope. I doubt that I will get fancy with piping, but what a great idea and something to aspire to as far as my skills go. Thanks for sharing.

Looks great! You two are so brave with your chevron patterns! I'm not careful enough to guarantee that it would be straight nor am I laid back enough not to care.
