Burp Cloths
>> Wednesday, January 27, 2010
I worked on some overdue baby gifts tonight. Sewing is my favorite thing to do when I have had one of those days at work.
I {heart} applique. If you are new to sewing and haven't discovered Wonder Under, go now. It's the best. Martha Stewart has some cute templates. The possibilities are endless.
Update: I'll post a wonder under tutorial this weekend. It's so easy. You will be addicted.

It's adorable...I should totally take the next class your teaching.
umm, i've been sewing for awhile how have i not heard of this stuff? I must live under a rock or something. I will have to come over so you can teach me :)
I love to sew and love the baby gifts. But how in the world do you use the stuff you are referencing. Any chance of a tutorial for those of us terrified to applique??
That is so cute! I'd also love a tutorial on applique! I've done iron-ons...

Wow I didn't know burp cloths could be so pretty!
So adorable! I love how you just "whip things up"!!!! Love the monogram! :0
Love your ideas and will have to steal this one.
Super Cute!!
Hey Stephanie! Would you believe that I--the non-crafter--just bought some Wonder Under about an hour ago? Look forward to seeing your tutorial! Miss you both--love keeping up with you through your blog!

Stephanie- so cute. I love these. So cute!
I love doing applique too with Wonder Under. I really like Heat N Bond also. It's a little thicker and easier to peel off the backing. I think it makes working with fabric like playing with construction paper when you were a kid!
