Wall Collage

>> Thursday, August 19, 2010

Along with many these days, I am a big fan of the wall collage. I met with a new client yesterday that has more framed art and photography than anyone I have ever worked with. Unfortunately they have more art than they do walls, so I am excited to see what kind of groupings we can make to utilize as much of it as possible. Here are some of my favorite collage images.

I am attempting this as we speak with some of our Haiti pictures and art. It's SO out of my box. I LOVE it, but my mind wants everything symmetrical. Any input on how to arrange.

I REALLY want to try a wall collage...especially after seeing Lauren's entry (and how cool is her orange door?)! My hubs is a runner, a triathlete...so wants pix along those lines. I'm trying to decide if I want men in spandex on my walls! Ha!

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

I love the wall collage look but I'm always drawn to the same size artwork, which make for a less interesting display -- I need to mix it up a little!

when I saw image #2 in the latest real simple I just about died. I'm rearranging the current collection in my bedroom exactly their way because that one is so much better.

The Hub likes this style, but I can't get my mind out of things being in a line, and I have a hard time with the frames not matching. I know I'm a odd one.

This is on my "to-do" list, as well. That third image is one of my faves. I've had it in my inspiration files and always revisit it!
