pronounced: mooo-stash in the Sabbe houshold

Today feels like Fall, my favorite season. But that means we're closer to winter. I'm scared of my first Boston winter like I used to be scared of the movie It. {still am}

I am going to buy one of these moustache hats before the winter gets here. You think I'm joking, because I'm not. Moustaches = respect, think Tom Celic, Burt Reynolds, Alex Trebek... Winter will be scared of me.
p.s. More bags in the Etsy shop today!

Cute!! I suspect you will be fine come winter. The key is to ALWAYS keep your feet dry. Warning-there are some tricky "black ice" puddles that form when it snows. They look like they're 1/2" deep but in reality they're 3". Get a good coat; you can never go wrong with a ski jacket. Oh, and get YakTrax for the occasional icy day (falling HURTS).

I totally want a bag! They are so cute! But I can't really justify money for extras right now. Maybe I'll ask for one for my birthday, which is at the beginning of Oct. Not too far off. They are so cute! I'm looking forward to what else you put up.

Boston winters are long and COLD- but after your first week or so you will be a-ok I assume :) Since I take the T to work and that means waiting for it and then walking to my office I have this ridiculously heinous long puffy down jacket, and I rock it with the hood on. I know its all hip to be stylish and stuff, but it’s totally not hip to have frost bite. I swear I only wear it on the really really cold days though. Also, I don’t care what people say about Uggs, they are great around here in the winter. Not on those slushy days though (since I like to keep them pretty looking), on the slushy days I sport my LL Bean Duck boots- love those things!

Ok, that was really long- I’m pretty sure you know how to keep yourself warm, so I’m not sure why I went into all that…I’m just going to hit post now and shut up :)

Ohhh, one more word of advice I totally forgot- and this is important: In the mornings (or anytime I guess) when waiting for the T outside or walking to the T station all bundled up be sure to unbutton your jacket when you get on the T immediately and take off the scarf, gloves, hat, ear muffs etc. so you don’t overheat! I can’t count how many times I am on the T in the morning and someone goes down for the count. Like passes out right on the train floor.

Not sure if its a combo of not eating breakfast, being too cold then too hot or whatever- but it happens all the time. Sad, I know :)

This is SUPER! I wonder if they make them in children's sizes. Henry (8 months) would look oh so fabulous! Seriously! If they make them for him, I'm getting one! Where do I get one?

Bwahahaha!! I think you should find a pattern and crochet one in *pink*. Then winter will be afraid AND embarrassed. Embarrassed to be afraid of a *girl*!!

So fun to see you at church this morning ;-)

Fun to see you too Wendy! I'm glad we can keep in touch!
