A Restful Retreat

>> Monday, January 4, 2010

Here are some more images I gathered for the residential project I worked on last summer. My client wanted to be able to rent the house as a corporate retreat, so the interior needed to be cozy and feel like "home", without feeling like someone else's home. I think this space in Port Ludlow, WA does a pretty good job of that.

Now that is a space I could relax and unwind in, I just love the open feeling space at the same time the couch is totally one I could curl up on and feel that warm feeling I love- not the cold icky feeling from alot of modern spaces I see :)

I would like to pack my bags up right now and spend a week there. Gorgeous home...

I've been dying to get to Washington, and this house looks just like where I would picture staying (I know, in my dreams)....my favorite part is definitely the exposed beams...

I grew up in Port Ludlow and if you are looking for a place to relax and get away from everything, Port Ludlow is the place to do it!
